Bremen Waste to Energy Conference

Northamptonshire Enterprise Ltd Sector Manager for Environmental Technologies, Richard Moore, attended the International Waste to Energy Conference in Bremen on 10th-11th December to keep abreast of developments in this fast growing sector. Asked to comment on the event, he said:
 
"This is one of the few sectors that have a bright outlook in the current economic gloom. We want the business community in Northamptonshire to be in the best possible position to capitalise on the opportunities in this sector and keeping informed and networking with the main players is a critical part of this."
 
One of the keynote speakers at the international event was Dr. Margaret Bates from the University of Northampton - further cementing Northampton as a centre of excellence in waste management research.
